THE EATON E SMITH AWARD

 

                                         Policy and Procedures

 

  1. The award is presented by the Northeast Food and Drug Officials Association.

 

  1. The award is conferred on an individual basis and may be issued annually or only when there is a recipient deemed to have qualified for the award.

 

  1. The award is presented to a member of the Association for “Outstanding Contribution, and Service to the Association, and to the Field of Foods, Drugs, and Consumer Protection.

 

  1. This award may be given posthumously to a former member.

 

  1. Previous recipients shall not be eligible for re-nomination.

 

  1. The elections Committee shall be made up of the past recipients, and shall be responsible for reviewing and voting on nomination submittals.
